Job Purpose:
To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects and ensure all the assigned projects are delivered on scope, on time and on budget and aligned with company policy and process, with high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Responsible for successfully planning, controlling and managing major customer projects which require the commitment of significant skills and resources.
Ø Manage project teams that include lead engineer, site manager, administrative support and third party vendors.
Ø Manage multi-function and multi-vendor efforts to plan and implement multiple, integrated system solutions to customers’ complex projects.
Do:
Ø Implement appropriate project management process & tools of the company to ensure all projects are delivered on scope, on time and on budget with high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ø Define and determine role of project management in each project, including specific roles and responsibilities for each project member.
Ø Prepare communication plan and related project status reports to key stakeholders to provide project updates on activities and deliverables, as well as risks and mitigation strategies.
Ø Define and manage overall change control processes and quality assurance aspects of the project to ensure project success.
Ø Define and manage overall project risk identification and mitigation process through interaction with project stakeholders.
Ø Identify on a timely basis all project barriers and identify strategies and approaches to overcome these barriers.
Ø Complete and manage project activities using an industry standard project management process and approach to ensure a consistent approach to project completion with other similar projects within the organization.
Ø Manage the Five Project Management Process Groups flow from one phase into another. Beginning with Initiate, Plan, Execute, Control, Close.
Ø Coach & provide feedback to project team members on their performance to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ø Ensure assigned proposal have right commitment on cost and schedule.
Ø Support Proposal Review to ensure cost and schedule committed.
Ø Leverage various resources to ensure the project team to meet project requirements defined in sales contract.
Ø Manage team performance to develop team capability and motivate the team.
Ø Work with Application Center Manager to make project manpower forecasting and balance.

Educational Qualifications/ Work Experience:
Ø Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent knowledge;
Ø Minimum 8 years of related work experience in automation field.
Ø Minimum 4 years of experience in process automation or application engineering project management experience.
Ø Project experience in the industries of Chemical, Life Science,Marine or Oil&Gas.
Ø Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
Ø Demonstrated success at simultaneously managing multiple complex customer projects.
Ø Extensive experience with direct customer contact is required.
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Ø Excellent conflict resolution and people interface skills.
Ø .Manage large multi-million turnkey project experience including multi-vendors and third party supply.
Ø Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites.
