Primary Duties:
1. Proposes control system electrical design solutions and compiles technical standards.
2. Implements control system electrical design, including schematics, PLC programming and other technical documents.
3. Instructs manufacturing practices, troubleshoots and provides solutions to technical problems in manufacturing.
4. Provides technical support for sales and customer service.
5. Modifies control systems in response to the customer’s requirements.
Project Experience:
1. September, 2008 – present: Development of a system which integrated cameras
Project description: 6 team members. This system utilized cameras to acquire images and achieve localization.
Project duties: Motion control of patient table and electrical design of entire system
1) Used a DC motor as actuator for motion control, the main concern is the range of motion.
2) Electrical connections of the components in the entire system
2. January, 2008 – August, 2008: Design of a water treatment system based on PLC
Project description: 2 team members. This system contained 28 I/O points and used the pneumatic valves as actuators.
Project duties:
1) Propose the automatic control solution.
2) PLC programming to achieve ON/OFF control of valves and pumps and ensure the system reliability taking account of the practical characteristics of the control plant.
3) Electrical design, including schematics, EMC and components layout.
This system has been put into use and gained output value of almost 1 million yuan to the company. |
