We currently have a position open for a Design Support Specialist (DSS) in the Banner Suzhou Engineering Department.  The DSS is responsible for virtually all of the clerical activities supporting documentation of Banner product and manufacturing resources.  This position requires excellent English language skills, is fast paced, and involves work requiring accuracy, attention to detail, and dedication to quality.

Duties include:

·         Work closely with Engineering staff in Suzhou and USA

·         Working extensively with Oracle Engineering Resource Planning (ERP) system

·         Assigning new part numbers and entering relevant data into Oracle

·         Entering Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Assembly Routing documents into Oracle

·         Processing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

·         Monitor customer order shortage lists

·         Prioritize and schedule engineering builds

·         Interact with Manufacturing to transfer new products from Development to Production

Qualifications:

·         Completed a minimum of 3 years in a University business, technical, or English study

·         Excellent English written, verbal, and comprehension skills

·         Intermediate computer skills Microsoft Word, advanced computer skills Microsoft Excel

·         Experience with industrial documentation systems and workflow processes is a plus

·         Ability to work well with others, under pressure of deadlines and multiple projects
