Title: MV Production Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
Work together with JZE Project Manager, responsible for developing and executing MV production plan, managing inventory and ordering system, establishing/monitoring assembly & wiring methods. Assure highest possible product quality and customer satisfaction. Applies world class manufacturing principles, such as Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and six sigma to the MV production.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for developing and executing MV production plan and sharing with Cambridge weekly.
2. Work closely with RA quality engineer in JZE on quality control.
3. Work closely with Cambridge staff/JZE application engineering on ECN (Engineering Change Notification).
4. Provide assistance and support to Manager, MVD Manufacturing.
5. Managing inventory and ordering system, work with JZE staff to ensure proper material planning and ordering. Work with Cambridge staff to ensure accuracy and timely shipments of components. Work with JZE staff to keep tracking shipments of components. Work with JZE staff to keep tracking local sourced parts, such as, sheet metal, copper bus, local sourced components.
6. Work with JZE to continuously improve quality and productivity. Actively review with employees on a regular basis.
7. Work with JZE project manager to coordinate daily production. Technical guidance to shop employees on daily basis.
8. Maintain close surveillance, audit over manufacturing operations to ensure, meet RA specification/standard and quality standard, the proper use of manpower, skills, equipment, and facilities.
9. Ensure available with of proper tooling and equipment for employees
10. Initiate, facilitate and implement improvements required to attain 100% shipping compliance. Must be Customer Focused
11. Initiate and implement training program to train/update shop employees on the implemented inventory systems; Cambridge assembling standard based on DWIs; RA quality standards; safety standard.
12. Assistant JZE with manpower planning to support the continued growth of MV Drives. Assist in hiring of new employees.
13. Manage NMR/DOA parts and RA parts stocked in JZE

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education / experience.
Experienced required:
1. A minimum of 2 years cumulative manufacturing experience (manufacturing support, material control, quality, etc.).
2. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience is required
3. Working experience at global company is preferred
